Sue is a Chartered Psychologist. She is a Director of Flower Associates International and has worked as a Clinical Practitioner with the group for over ten years.
Sue is currently practicing in the City of London seeing individuals for brief and long-term therapy. She uses a number of research and theoretically based therapeutic approaches in her clinical practice, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy.
Sue has several years of experience in the educational field using psychometric testing across the spectrum, from young children to adults presenting with a wide range of educational and psychological concerns. Psychometric tools include the Wechsler Scales. Her experience extends to working systematically and individually with children and their families.
Her specialist skills include psychological assessment and working therapeutically with individuas using a number of therapy approaches in the context of depression; anxiety; post-traumatic stress; relationship issues; and specific phobias.
Sue is an Affiliate Member of the British Psychological Society's Division of Counselling Psychology, a member of the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies, the Open University Psychological Society, Founder Member of the Society for Coaching Psychology and a London Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine.
Sue is committed to her professional development of skills-based knowledge and her current research interests include the development of cognitive-behavioural models, cognitive assessment and improving outcomes in Cognitive Therapy.
Sue's earlier career encompasses working in a variety of NHS healthcare settings as a Counselling Psychologist and draws her practical and clinical experience from Primary Care, Secondary Care and the private sector.
