Stefania is a Director of Flower Associates. A Chartered Counselling Psychologist, she specialises in stress management as well as post-traumatic stress disorder.
Her preferred therapeutic approach is solution-focused, cognitive behavioural, and traumatic incident reduction.
Apart from working with adults on a one-to-one basis, where she works with individuals suffering from stress, burnout, anxiety, depression and insomnia, Stefania also has expertise with children dealing with stress, depression, anxiety, low self-esteeem, as well as building resilience.
Furthermore, Stefania has extensive expertise in delivering psychological assessments (e.g. ability and intellectual, emotional intelligence, workplace 360 assessments, coping and stress assessments, and personality assessments). She also has extensive experience in providing cognitive behavioural therapy to children and adults, stress management, as well as executive, life, and performance coaching. She has carried out online CBT with a number of individuals globally.
Stefania has also trained with the Albert Ellis Institute in New York, focusing on Rational Emotive Behavioural Therapy (REBT).
Stefania has worked clinically in a variety of organisational and medical settings, which include; holding the position of an honorary consultant for the Maudsley Hospital, London; counselling psychologist for HMP Brixton, London; Business and Life Coach; art therapist; specialist lecturer in cognitive behavioural therapy and stress management; being an editor for an international mental health website; writing and publishing numerous articles in the fields of depression, stress and axiety. Furthermore she has presented national conferences on the therapeutic approach for PTSD (Traumatic Incident Reduction), and has made media appearances in her role as an anger and stress management specialist.
She has completed research, at doctoral level with the University of Essex and the Tavistock Clinic of London, in the field of workplace stress and has devoped a self-help manual to cope with stress for middle management within blue chip organisations.
She is a member of the British Psychological Society's Division of Counselling Psychology; the British Association of Cognitive and Behavioural Psychotherapies; an affiliate founding member of the Assoiation for Coaching, UK; member of the Croatian Psychological Society; an affiliate member of the Royal Society of Medicine.
Stefania is also a director of Grbcic Consultancy Ltd.
