Sohayla, a Consultant in Behaviour Management, has worked with Flower Associates for a number of years.
Sohayla works with both children and adults presenting with behavioural and developmental delay conditions, as well as other challenges, such as: psychological, learning, and multiple challenges. She takes her expertise onsite within both the home and school environments. Sohayla also makes school visits to Christopher Place in Central London (The Speech, Language and Hearing Centre), where her work is highly valued.
Sohayla's areas of specialisation include working with children who present with autism and developmental delays and is well respected in her field. She works on a one-to-one basis with children and adults, as well as with groups and families.
Sohayla's special interests are working with relationship difficulties as well as work-related depression, stress, anxiety, phobias, discipline and behaviour concerns in children and adults.
She has held the position of working in the private office of H.R.H Prince Saud Bin Yazid Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud as well as in the Medical Department of UAE (Military Attache Office), London, working with patients and families. She has particular expertise and knowledge of the cultural influences and issues that pertain to the Middle East.
She gained her post graduate training in counselling from Brighton University and gained an MA in Human Rights from the University of Sussex (Sussex Law School), after having completed two Bachelor of Science degrees in Business, and in Inter-Disciplinary Studies, a number of years ago.
Sohayla is actively involved in voluntary work concerning patients, children and adults, families and a range of social issues.
